Yuganiki Okkadu Box Office Reports
Selvaraghavan’s magnum opus Aayirathil Oruvan featuring Karthi- Reemma- Andrea-Parthipan was dubbed into Telugu and released as Yuganiki Okkadu on February 5th. Yuganiki Okkadu has taken a superb opening across Andhra and the movie has been declared as a super hit across the state by Telugu trade.
Yuganiki Okkadu was released in 93 screens across Andhra and the movie has grossed an whopping Rs 1.8 crores in its opening weekend (Feb 5 to 7).
The film took such an opening due to its director Selvaraghavan who is a major brand in Andhra after his 7G-Brindavan Colony and straight Telugu film in 2007 Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule were super hits.
Yuganiki Okkadu is being distributed in Andhra by Gjnavel Raja, Karthi’s Cousin who has chopped the original Tamil AO film from 3 hours 3 minutes to 2 hours 21 minutes in Telugu! Sources say that trimming some confusing and offending scenes in second half has made the Telugu movie has a perfect racy entertainer.
