Followed by the grand success of “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’ and it’s Telugu version titled “Ye Maaya Chesavo’, filmmaker Gowtham Menon is all set to remake the film in Hindi. The film will be produced by Gowtham Menon in collaboration with a Hindi film production company.
The Tamil version featuring Kollywood’s heartthrob Silambarasan and hottie Trisha in lead roles was released on February 26 and stands out as a top-drawer in box office. On the pars, the Telugu version (Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya and newcomer Samantha) was released on the same day and indeed witnessed favorable results amongst Tollywood buffs. February 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya is blatantly guided by the mantra ‘Simple But Powerful’. There is nothing new about the film as it is a threadbare love story, but then Gautham Menon’s (the director) fascinating climax astonishes you.
Young and colorful are the two words that can aptly describe Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. It is a close-to-heart film for everyone, incisively catered to the tastes of the contemporary audience, especially, the youngsters. The film poignantly speaks about the love story between Karthik (Silambarasan), a wannabe filmmaker, who accommodates himself in a house as a tenant. Jessie (Trisha), an employee in Infosys, is the daughter of the house’s owner. Predictably, it is love at first sight for the young lad and he keeps following the traits of the hundreds of heroes who have been doing this over the years. But, after a certain extent, when he can afford to capture the heart of Jessie, he is discombobulated by Jessie. As her parents get to know about this, they arrange her daughter’s marriage with someone.

Gautham Menon’s Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is all set to hit the screens on February 26th. Now the latest buzz around the movie is that, Gautham Menon is is planning to have double climax for his Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
Sources from censor board has confirmed that two separate climaxes of the film have been shot and it has been censored. As per sources one climax will be an happy one and the other would be sad. But nothing has been confirmed yet, and we will know it when the film release on February 26th.
