Venkat Prabhu has started the shooting of his next movie Poochandi staring his favourite stars his brother Premgi and Shiva( Tamil Padam) in lead roles. Poochandi is being directed by T Shiva of Amma Creations who has earlier produced Venkat Prabhu’s Saroja.
Venkat Prabhu’s recent movie Goa has got a lukewarm response at the Box office and he surely want to bounce back with hiss Poochandi. Poochandi has music scored by his favorite music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. Read the rest of this entry »

Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios produced Goa directed by Venkat Prabhu cannot be released until December 11 as per Madras High Court order. The madras high court on Tuesday granted an injunction restraining Ocher Studios and Gemini Colour Lab from releasing the Tamil fim Goa till December 11.
Soundarya Rajinikanth has borrowed money from building contractor Varun Maniyan, sum of Rs 1.60 crore, of which Rs 1.10 crore was given from office funds and the remaining Rs 50 lakh was drawn from his personal funds. The interest rate is said to be 24 percent. Read the rest of this entry »

The big buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that Venkat Prabhu will be joining hands with none other than Kamal Haasan. According a reliable source Venkat Prabhu had met Kamal Haasan recently and also narrated a script to him.
Pleased with the inspiring story, the theme of which is reportedly similar to the Hollywood film Taken the actor has also given his nod to work with the filmmaker, but has reportedly demanded a huge sum as remuneration.
