Kollywood’s biggest Box office hit team of recent time is back once again. Blockbuster movie Ayan team of Surya and KV Anand are coming together once again for a new action adventure produced by AGS Entertainment.
The rest of the cast, crew and technicians of the movie are being finalized as the film shooting would start from February 2011.
Like his previous movies Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam and the recent hit Madharsapattinam, Kalpathi Agoram is planning to make this untitled movie in a huge budget. This has already created huge expectations among Surya fans.

Madharasapattinam Movie Review – A Journey Back To The Ancient Chennai

Filmmaker A.L. Vijay is known for making exceptional attempts over choosing unique scripts. Be it his directorial debut Kireedom (remake of yesteryear Malayalam film Kireedom) or the comedy entertainer Poi Solla Poram (again a remake of Hindi film Khosla Ka Ghosla). Indeed, these films were ennobled with the best verdicts as “Better than the best’. Now again, the filmmaker seems to have been vividly inspired by Aamir Khan’s Lagaan.
Set in the backdrop of ancient Chennai, the film revolves around an 18-yr old Amy Wilkinson (Amy Jackson), who falls in love with a Tamil dhobi (Arya), who’s a wrestler as well. Singam Movie Review
It’s really been a very long time that our movie buffs enjoyed watching a good film. With most of this year’s releases turning to be mere disappointments, Surya’s Singam stands out as a mind-boggling entertainer. Aye! The duo Surya-Hari makes it on for a successful hat trick with Singam as the film proves to be an excellent showpiece.
To be precise, you wouldn’t actually agonize that you have spent 2.5hrs keeping an eye on this film. Hari has penned such a screenplay, which has the right mix of action, fun, frolic, emotions and romance. Surya doesn’t try to touch the lines of typical mass heroes by uttering loud punch dialogues and bashing down hundreds of men at the same time.

Surya ’s Singam has released today worldwide in a grand manner. In USA alone Singam is being released in more than 30 screens across 24 locations, making it as the biggest ever release of a Tamil film in USA
“Singam’ is produced by K.E. Gnyanavel Rajan under the banner name of Studio Green Films and is directed by Hari, who earlier directed Surya in “Aaru’ and “Vel’. Surya pairs up with Anushka in the film while Prakash Raj takes on the villain role.
Musical score by Devi Sri Prasad is already topping the charts and the songs are visual treat to all fans with mesmerizing Surya dance.
Singam, is a family entertainer with the right mix of action, fun, romance, sentiments and glamour.

Surya’s much expected movie Singam is expected to release on May 28th. Sun Pictures who have earlier acquired the movie rights planned to release the movie on June 4th. But now they have preponed Singam movie release to May 28 as per trade sources.
Sun Pictures wants to release the film before the holiday season ends. Most Schools and colleges reopen after summer holidays on June1. By releasing Singam on May 28, the movie will get massive opening since Surya has got the best opening among youth audiences in Tamil Nadu. Read the rest of this entry »
