South Indian Actress Nayanthara brought traffic to a standstill in Kumbakonam, as she tried to board a local bus along with co star hero Arya. Kollywood’s new hot pair was shooting for Shiva Manasula Sakthi director Rajesh’s new film Boss Engira Baskaran.

Rajesh who believes in shooting in realistic locations went to Kumbakonam main bus stand and asked his lead pair to board a local city bus!

It created a stir and they could shoot only for half an hour before the crowd became uncontrollable. They had to shift the location as almost the entire people near the bus stand came to see Nayanthara!

Nayanthara, the controversial actress of South Indian film industry, seems to have got into one more problem. Apparently, the actress was shooting for her upcoming film ‘Boss Engira Baskaran‘ in Kumbakonam, where a clash broke between her and actress Vijayalakshmi.

According to the reports, Vijayalakshmi performs the role of Nayan’s elder sister in this film. During the shoots, the entire crew was scandalized to see these actresses getting into arguments that literally became complicated, as they raised hands on each other. Later, the unit members calmed down the hurly-burly situation. When approached the unit members of the film, they remained tightlipped about the catfights and denied these reports, claiming it to be baseless rumors.

Is Nayanthara all set to scorch the screen with an item song in the Dhanush-starrer, Maapillai directed by Suraaj?

The movie is a remake of Superstar Rajnikanth’s (Dhanush’s father-in-law) 1989 film of the same name and Nayan, who is shooting with Arya in Kumbakonam, is still in two minds. For, if she does decide to do the number, she will have to juggle her dates with a Telugu film she’s doing with Balakrishna.

Nayanthara herself is no newcomer to item numbers. Two of the three item songs that she has done so far, have been with Rajinikanth (The famous song Balle Lakka’¦from Sivaji and Om Zarare from Kuselan), and the other special number was with Vijay in the chartbuster Kodambakkam Area’¦from Sivakasi.

Nayan’s only film with Dhanush, with whom she incidentally shares an excellent rapport, was the superhit Yaaradi Nee Mohini. And now, after this song, she will be the only heroine who will have made a ’special song’ appearance with both father-in-law and son-in-law! Her appearance in the song will also give Maapilai title value and an extra edge. The beauty however, refused to comment on whether or not she will do this special ‘kuthu’ number which is tuned by hit maker Mani Sharma.

Nayanthara as of now, has only one Tamil film, Boss Engira Bhaskaran with Arya and sources close to her say that she refers to these exclusive songs as ’special cameo appearances’. She does not believe she is turning into an item girl. Her argument is that, when all top Bollywood heroines like Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor have done numerous ’special cameo appearances’, why call them item numbers?

Meanwhile, the actress is also doing a crucial cameo in the climax of Venkat Prabhu-directed Goa. This one, however, is not a song. At the end of the day, it’s good money for Nayanthara, for just one or two days of shooting, not to mention the adulation and appreciation that will come her way.

Recently a grand function was held in Hyderabad by entire Tollywood industry, to raise funds for victims of Andhra floods. Telugu Actor Ramakrishna was organizing the event and he has send the invitation to actress Nayanthara, Sneha who are doing Telugu films regularly.

But both the actress failed to turned up for the event, and now Ramakrishna has send an notice to both of them seeking an explanation for not attending the event. As per latest buzz around Tollywood is that the actresses may be banned from acting in Telugu fims if they are not satisfied with the reply.

Boss Engindra Bhaskar movie’s rest of the crew is yet to be finalized and after finalizing it an official announcement about the crew will be made.
