Khatta Meeta directed by Priyadarshan stars Akshay Kumar and Trisha in lead roles. Khatta Meeta is said to be a full length comedy film. Khatta Meeta is a remake of the 1989 hit Malayalam film , Vellanakalude Nadu , also directed by Priyadarshan.

Actress Trisha, one of the top heroines of South India has recently made her journey to Bollywood. She will be making her debut in Bollywood under Director Priyadharshan, who also directed her debut movie Lesa Lesa.
Latest buzzes from the sets of Khatta Meetha is that actress Trisha is doing a great job opposite to Akshay Kumar. Her hard work and girly charm has impressed Akshay to such an extent that in recent interviews, he has spoken very highly of his co-star.

Actress Trisha’s Bollywood dream project Khatta Meeta with Akshay Kumar directed by her mentor Priyadarshan, shooting has started. The shoot of the film has started in a small town Baramati, 100 kilometres from Pune.
