Vijay’s 51st film “Kaavalan is going to be released for this Diwali. Kaavalan is in the heels of completion as the producers are planning to release the film for Diwali. The film started rolling much prior to the release of Vijay’s previous “Sura,. Recently the scenes involving Vijay and Asin were shot in the campus of VIT College in Vellore.
According to the sources, it has been revealed that filmmaker – producer Sakthi Chidambaram may acquire the rights of this film and release it under his banner of Cinema Paradise.
On the pars, Asin’s characterization will be equally important as Vijay. Especially, the second half is reported to of revolving around just 3 characters that includes Vijay, Asin and another girl. Read the rest of this entry »

Gowtham Menon’s open statement on his decisions about not working with Ajith in future had stirred up agitations amongst the actor’s fans. At the other end, the diehard buffs of Gowtham Menon were curiously looking out for Gowtham Menon’s next choice. It looks like it’s his close pal Surya, who has bagged the offer. Another interesting buzz about the film is Gowtham Menon signing British Model Amy Jackson of “Madharasapattinam’ fame for the female lead role.

Once Bollywood queen Rani Mukherjee has captured the headlines most of the time for her alleged relationship with filmmaker Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj films. Now, again the news has come up that the actress is going to tie the knot in this November.
The rumor might have irritated Rani but it has again ignited the curious minds and everybody wants to know the name of the lucky man. Considering her alleged year long relationship with Aditya, the name is at the top in the list. Even the date is said to be finalized, the Mukherjee family has not disclosed it yet. It is expected to be announced after performing the traditional Mukherjee family “Durga Puja’, which will take place in the month of October. So, there is a strong speculation that the date will be somewhere around November.
Both Aditya and Rani have maintained their denial mode regarding their much talked relationship. It is even said that Aditya divorced his first wife to legalize his relationship with this Bong beauty.
Coming to her career in Bollywood, it does not seem to be taking any brighter turn in near future so it is the best time for the actress to settle down in personal life. Aditya attempted to re-create the magic of Rani with her latest film Dil Bole Hadippa opposite much younger hero Shahid Kapoor. She lost some kilos to look younger and match up with Shahid but nothing worked. The film did not do well at the box office and Rani’s Bollywood career got almost ruined.
However, if the marriage happens in reality and if the guy is Aditya, Rani can expect another boost from the Chopras!

Ajith’s Billa movie with Director Vishnuvardhan turned out to be one of the Biggest Box office Hits in 2007. Billa proved to be a landmark movie in Tamil cinema for its stylish looks and action sequences. Ajith later went on to act in Aegan and Asal while Vishnuvardhan directed Sarvam.
Now the latest news is that Director Vishnuvardhan is all set to partner again with Ajith Billa 2. Sources confirm that Vishnu is ready with the script and is waiting for confirmation of dates from Ajith. It is confirmed that the shooting of Billa 2 will commence from early 2011. Whether Ajith will start Billa 2 after his next with Venkat Prabhu is still not known.

In the recent times, it’s all about 3 Idiots remake in tinsel town that has been making high waves in Kollywood. With Gemini Film Productions signing Shankar to wield megaphones for both Tamil and Telugu version, the details about actors performing lead characters wasn’t confirmed.
Now the closer sources have revealed that the film will have Vijay, Silambarasan, and Madhavan will be playing the lead roles. Mahesh Babu will take on the lead role of “Rancho’ in Telugu version with both Simbhu and Maddy repeating their roles. Boman Irani’s character of a rigid professor will be played by Sathyaraj.
It’s worth mentioning that Sathyaraj was previously approached by Shankar to play the negative character in Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji – The Boss. Read the rest of this entry »
